Pre needling skin prep includes enzymatic peeling and selection of medical grade sterile serum chosen for your skin concern.
Per treatment a course of 3 is recommended treatment includes application of medical grade numbing cream to ensure patient is comfortable during the process, this also enables me to work more effectively. Microneedling (also known as skin needling or collagen induction therapy) is a type of treatment that uses small needles to cause tiny punctures in the skin. These small contact points encourage the body to create a wound healing response and renew the skin cells.

What to Expect
This uses an electronic mechanism with a short needle to target just the top layers of the skin, giving a rejuvenating effect. The reduced intensity of this treatment causes less downtime than a deeper treatment, whilst still achieving a youthful complexion.

How many sessions will I need?
We always advise 3-6 sessions of skin needling for clinical improvement.
Is micro-needling painful?
No, skin needling is not painful and no anaesthetic is required for treatment. The medical-grade needles are extremely small, only piercing the skin at surface level. After treatment, your skin may be slightly pink, but there is no bleeding or downtime needed.
Aftercare
After your microneedling treatment is complete, aftercare products will be applied to the skin, including an SPF. Skin will initially be pink or red and can feel like mild sunburn. This hot and tight feeling can last up to 48 hours after treatment but is completely normal. It is important that after treatment, you do not touch, rub or pick your skin. No cleaning or perfumed products are to be used for 12-48 hours after, and you must not use retinols, acids or exfoliators for a minimum of five days
